Tattoo studio owner makes his mark in Delray Beach
Vatican Tattoo Studio owner Jeff Kozan is a Florida native who got his first ink at 15 and became fascinated with the art of tattooing. He opened Vatican Tattoo in Fort Lauderdale nine years ago and opened a second location in Delray Beach last November.

Do you specialize in a certain type of tattoo art?
I do a lot of large-scale Japanese back pieces. My art and style over the years has gravitated toward that but I also tattoo portraits. Whatever tattoo walks in the door, we have an artist to accommodate that tattoo style.
How many tattoo artists do you have at your shop?
In Delray, we have myself plus three other artists.
What brought you to Delray Beach?
I grew up here and always wanted to open a shop here. I live here now, very close to my shop, so it’s been really great for my wife to pop in with my two kids.
